The Newton Area Industrial Park is owned by the City of Newton. The city purchased the park in 2002 in a progressive move to develop the area. All utilities and roads have been extended into the second phase of the park.
Geographically, it is conveniently located from a transportation perspective. The Kansas & Oklahoma rail line is adjacent on the south boundary of the site. The Newton City/County Airport, with is 7,002 ft. runway and 3,500 ft. crosswind runway, is located within three miles.
Lots are available to be purchased from the city. They will negotiate terms with interested parties and will consider “in-kind” proposals where applicable.
