Newton, Kan. – Bunting Magnetics, headquartered in Newton, KS, continues to expand locally. The company recently purchased an existing 12,000 SF building, located at 1001 S. Spencer Ave, Newton, KS, to accommodate their growth. This expansion represents a capital investment of $2.8 Million and the creation of 6 new jobs.

Bunting Magnetics is a family-owned company that manufactures magnetics for industrial processing equipment. The company has multiple locations world-wide, and we are pleased they chose Newton, KS, for their investment.

“We are very excited to be able to expand here in Newton once again”, said Bob Bunting, President of Bunting Magnetics. “The new facility will be equipped with the most modern equipment we could obtain, to produce a product that is used to print on consumer packaging. Ultimately, the products will be shipped world-wide which speaks well for the capabilities of the Kansas workforce.”

HCEDC worked in collaboration with the City of Newton, Harvey County, and the Kansas Department of Commerce on this impactful project.
